Every time I try and pull that little light from out of the dash above the glove compartment I short it out against the metal of the dash. To save me pulling the fuse or disconnecting battery I insulated the offending part

Admittedly, it's not a part you remove every day. I had it in and out recently when looking at tying in some additional lights.
