Not that you asked but.....

This won't help the flagging, but I notice that some ads have
something like this:

"Please include [word, phrase] in the subject line of your email"

If I were selling something on CL, I'd do that then set a rule in my
email software to route emails containing that word/phrase in the
subject, to a specific folder. Not certain if webmail like Gmail can
do this though.

Doing this might at least keep the more legitimate replies separated.
I gather a lot of that crap is automated.
