Neil - thanks for the link to the rear speakers. presently, I'm rolling with a pair of Aiwa shelf speakers on the luggage deck floor. sorta ghetto. sorta broke college student. so, I'd pay that for just the mounts. �as for the boxes on the cheap , I'd gut them. My Audi has a pair �of rockin good Polk Audio speakers on top of the dash [factory mount]. I'd go with them , again. they put out really well for their size. the sound goes up to the windshield mostly but, kinda in the face too. they're about 3.5 to 4 in. can measure tomorrow if you're interested - the box isn't here. � h t h � � � � �mike
