Well, George, we do camp, and we avoid large gatherings and trappings that attract large groups. An isolated place is more to our liking. We have a 1991 Volkswagen Vanagon GL Campmobile for access to places that would be difficult for us otherwise. It being a Volkswagen is incidental to its utility for our purposes, and fascination with a vehicle is not within my comprehension. We're different from you, I guess. mcneely ---- george jannini <georgejoann@GMAIL.COM> wrote: > We don't camp, we travel in order to meet with our alternative family of > choice, set up our kitchens and Dutch ovens, eat, drink, swap bus parts and > stories, buy homemade tie dyed T-shirts soaps and moonshine whiskey, frolic > in the river, work on people's halt/lame buses, build larger than life > campfires and talk about the folks who didn't show up. > > And oh yeah, I've had pizza made in one of them ovens and it was > delicious. <G> I think that about sums it up - can I get an amen? > > George, Jo & Ray (he's the cat) > On the road in Huntington, WV, on our way to Rooster's Redneck Rendezvous. > > > > > On Wed, Mar 20, 2013 at 12:21 PM, Stuart MacMillan <stuartmacm@gmail.com>wrote: > > > Wow, amazing what's available to actually avoid "camping."
