A couple thoughts: - will this affect serviceability? (debris clogs screen, box needs to be removed?) if not .... - inset screen so it doesn't interfere with box and-or seals where it mates to the Vanagon sheet metal? Use 1/4" galvanized mesh? I sealed the fresh air ram grill with either 1/4" or 1/2" mesh. I'd rather see if vermin are trying to, or have gotten in, via that point. Because I had my "air cooled" heat box out recently, I noticed it had a loose piece of plastic. I drilled pilot holes and screwed it back into place. Not saying using screws is a good idea, per se, but the plastic didn't crack and it is holding the part. And FIWW, these parts https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-utjqLF0tizE/SxW3MA5IKiI/AAAAAAAACA4/kF5f5psrTSY/s720/Flow.jpg have held up for several years. IIRC, I used a couple screws on each and some kind of caulking. Neil. On Sat, Mar 16, 2013 at 12:05 PM, Mike South <msouth@gmail.com> wrote: > Has anyone put the screening on the heater box itself?
