I had my automatic transmission rebuilt by German transaxle, and several years later no problems. I also had a torque biasing limited slip differential put in at the same time. Absolutely love this upgrade and recommend it. I use to get stuck on flat ground, and have not had a problem since. Improves handling around corners and on washboard type roads too. In short, it's made it possible to drive the van in the wintertime, instead of just during the summer months.
