I had one of those on my ’84 when they were cheaper. One thing I advise is to always use the tie downs. Once on a clear summer day a sudden gust of wind lifted the awning up and the center pole was launched out like it was shot from a slingshot and put a big dent in the cabinet. It would have really hurt if I’d been inside. It’s a sophisticated design, but my next awning will be Bus Depot’s. I've been thinking about buying it a welcome home present. I was thinking a Shady boy awning, but damn those are $$$. Now leaning more towards Bus Depots awning. Maybe a Colgan bra too. As I had mentioned in an earlier post, I had done so much to this van, I had forgotten some of the things-like the upgraded headlights and wiring. This was just sooooo much easier than starting over on another one! Jeff Stewart _____ You, sir, are a lucky dog! Now dive into it and make it better. As I said, deal is done, my ' 85 Westy is back home in my driveway. The buyer bought it back in October of 2012. The mileage was 123,306. I just looked at the odometer a little while ago, it is now 123,606. 300 miles in 6 months! That includes him driving the 40 miles or so back to my house. I guess he really didn't have time to use it! Jeff Stewart
