The stock headlights on the '86 up Vanagons are pretty poor. There are a couple of ways you can upgrade depending on how far you want to go: 1) Our VisionKit2 includes higher output bulbs and a relay kit. This is the best upgrade that uses your existing headlights. http://www.busdepot.com/VISIONKIT2 2) Our South African grill kit upgrades you to a four-round-headlight setup, and includes an excellent set of Bosch H4's. This is the best upgrade available. (Note, it is currently backordered for about 3-4 weeks.) You can combine this with a relay kit and 90/100 watt bulbs if you want to really go all out, but even without them the difference will be pronounced. http://www.busdepot.com//1495 (links to relay kit and 90/100 watt bulbs also on that page) 3) As a possible middle ground, you can switch to an '80-85 grill and a set of Bosch H4's. This requires a few different items so I can send links on request. For those who want to improve their stock '80-85 headlights, our Bosch H4 headlights are a huge improvement in and of themselves for around $50/pair with the bulbs, and are even better if combined with relays as part of our VisionKit. (Or you too can go all out and do the South African grill thing linked above.) http://www.busdepot.com/VISIONKIT1 http://www.busdepot.com/0301600118/ - Ron Salmon The Bus Depot, Inc. www.busdepot.com (215) 234-VWVW _____________________________________________ Toll-Free for Orders by PART # : 1-866-BUS-DEPOT
