I have tried the bending method. Though heating the arm up a *little* helped, and they lasted a short while, they eventually snapped. I am currently using a couple of washers to fur the handle out a bit but looking at this image of your speaker http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-jl9AArBYPdo/UXMIWqWhytI/AAAAAAAAAwM/3d28KTHO6Yc/s1600/Door1.jpeg this may not work. I ended up bending my original cranks out slightly so they wouldn't hit the speaker covers that stick out about a 1/2 inch but the cranks have now broken off. -- Neil n Blog: tubaneil.blogspot.ca '88 Westy http://tinyurl.com/c8rlw6p '81 VanaJetta 2.0 "Jaco" http://tubaneil.googlepages.com/ Vanagon VAG Gas inline-VR Engine Swap Group: http://tinyurl.com/d7gd5ej
