Smaller diameter poles are for horizontal and larger poles are for
vertical, assemble smaller poles with the pins on the outside ends the pins
get inserted into the fiberglass rod ends to create the dome. There are two
slip tubes that slide over the outer horizontal tube to attach the outer
vertical poles/legs .I figured it out by laying it out in the yard. The
clips that attach to the gutter are a pain, I fabricated some permanent
mounts for mine that a single1/4"bolt each attaches them, had issues with a
breeze pulling the clips off the gutter. Good luck
