I've been driving my '83 Westy daily for over 17 years.  Took it to Bryce and Zion and Brian Head years ago, and once to Ensenada in Baja.  Moving it to Florida first of July.  It's slow going on the road up from Baker to Mt. Pass, on any hill for that matter, even up to Mt. Charleston, but around town it's great except for no a.c. which is usually ok except when the temperature gets over about 112F, which it occasionally does here in Las Vegas.
