My exhaust pipe - the collector pipe to the catalytic converter - has a hole in it. I've patched it several times, but it really needs to be replaced. Is it as simple as cutting off the old bolts and bolting the new pipe and gaskets in place? Or is the exhaust more of a connected puzzle than that? I.e. - you can't remove one part without first removing the others? There's a flange on the new elbow pipe, so it looks like the pipes slip together - might be really hard to slip apart without breaking other parts. Never worked on the exhaust yet - first time for everything! Thanks for any insights! Mark 1990 Westy 2.1 liter
