Have not used this particular one but have used other Hollywood products and both sold and used this brand and many others while in the bike biz. I do like the six locating straps (have 6 straps on my current hatch-mount rack by Saris) and feel they give a little extra mounting security, and especially side-to-side stability, compared to the ones with only the four straps.
For occasional use I like the hatch racks but would prefer something more substantial and handy (swingaway hitch-mount, for example) for longer trips. Hollywood is a good, known brand and has been around for a long time. Good luck!

I've searched my g-mail history of the list and haven't found anything re:
The Hollywood Express model bike racks.

According to their fit chart they will fit a Vanagon and they get decent
reviews - This isn't something we would use a lot but on occasion. I like
the Yakima dn Thule racks I've seen but for how often we will use it I'm
not willing to shell out that kind of coin on those right now. I can get
this Hollywood rack for $60 through Amazon - will hold 3 bikes.

Have any of you used these before?
