Subject: A Short Rant

I'm not a moderator on this list so maybe I'm out of place with this but
I'll say it anyway.
PLEASE stay on topic, especially when someone is in trouble on the road and
looking for help!
A recent (last night) call for assistance almost instantly turned into a
series of stories about past road troubles, philosophy of travel and
personal exchanges. All of which provided little or no help to the
gentleman seeking information. Think about how you would feel if you were
in that situation and trying to glean some help from all the excess
verbiage.
Okay, off my soapbox, but I was really irritated.
