You should be doing a lot more than 70 mph @ 4,500 rpm. Something is slipping if the tach is correct.

Hi All,

So, I've finally found some time to do some significant highway driving
in the van.

In attempts to see how it handles on the highway I've discovered that I
can't get it to go beyond 70mph.

At 70mph I'm hitting around 4500rpm and the van seems to hit its limit.

I'm wondering of those of you with the bostig setup:

Can you go greater then 70mph?
What are your rpms at those speeds?
What kind of a influence does the transmission play?
