I was looking through the Hayne's manual this evening for a parts replacement for my wife's 2003 Prius. I noticed when flipping through the manual that the 2004-on Prius have electrical AC compressors. Can anyone comment on what kind of current it would take to run an AC compressor on electricity? One of the big problems with diesel vanagon AC, besides the power issue, is the mounting and location of the compressor and a way to reliably drive it with a belt. An electrical solution would obviate that. Any comments? Jim
