Just run them inside the closet, down through the shelf and underneath the van. Tape them in the corner or run inside the A/C hose cover. If you can get a four wire sheathed cable like the pros use that's the cleanest. The factory wires are inside the air vent channel and not worth the hassle of trying to fish new wires there IMHO. Have fun! Now, the wires won't move in whatever chase they're in, so fishing's not an option. But the bass are biting up at the lake...David On Mon, Jun 17, 2013 at 4:03 AM, Harry Hoffman <hhoffman@ip-solutions.net>wrote: > Dave, > Would it be possible to use the old wires to fish a new set into their > place? > I've done this in other applications but never tried with speaker > wires in the van. > I'm sure someone on the list can weigh in on it. > > Cheers, > Harry > > David Moyal <moyald@GMAIL.COM> wrote: > > >My '83 Westy has a short in one of the rear speaker wires.
