How does the customer know whether it is the technician's fault or not? An honest mechanic would at least point out that he broke something. The guy who broke the studs on the radiator fan for me did not tell me, and wanted to sell me a new fan motor for big bucks. Another mechanic found the problem quickly, and repaired it. mcneely ---- Don Hundt <donhundt@GMAIL.COM> wrote: > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Scott Ohana" <scottdaniel@TURBOVANS.COM> > To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> > > Ifonly shops that charge 90 per hourdid good work. > > > > there is no relationship between 'what they charge' and quality of work, > > or degree of responsility. > > People can get work done at the most expensive shops there are, and > > Yeah, completely not my point. If something breaks that isn't his fault, he charges the customer. > Don -- David McNeely
