I still have it plugged into shore power (although I'm not sure why I'm
bothering). I have not tried 12v for any length of time, but when I turn the
engine on and switch the panel to 12v the fridge indicator on the panel does
light up.  I'm not near work, but I do have various relays on my workbench,
so I suppose if nothing else I'll bring a few of them and a multimeter along
for the ride.
