I believe the led is measuring the aux battery. Not 100% sure. I know the aux battery powers the fridge. When I got the van, there was some creative wiring, and then I added a Yandina. See link to rough drawing I did last year. I will try to check the voltages. I know all the other stuff connected to the aux, such as interior lights, 12v outlets, and radio, all work. http://images.thesamba.com/vw/gallery/pix/952132.jpg Sent from my iPad On Jul 5, 2013, at 3:26 PM, David Beierl <dbeierl@attglobal.net> wrote: > At 05:51 PM 7/5/2013, Jeremy Stovin wrote: >> Unplugged it from shore, started her up and switched to battery. Is your LED panel measuring the aux battery? If it isn't that suggests a ground problem. It would help a lot if you can provide a schematic of how your aux battery is wired and what's connected to it. > >> I also notice the "burner" light is on and bright. DC operation shifts the panel ground reference a bit, causing it to believe that the thermocouple has gone negative as it would if the flame were running. Beefier wiring and relocating the panel ground to the fridge gas valve would prevent this. > > Yrs, > d
