I don't know if this is a really good solution - but given the location of the main battery in a wbx vanagon it does provide a bit of protection - its a neg. disconnect switch. http://shufti.wordpress.com/2012/08/24/vanagon-main-battery-kill-switch/ Further, I've helped a friend install a marine battery disconnect switch on the positive side. There we drilled through the wall of the battery box (wall on the "passageway") so that a key can be inserted into the switch to turn it on/off. cheers alistair On 2013-07-23, at 2:44 PM, Eric Wunrow wrote: > Anyone have quick-to-do ideas on how to disable an '84 Westy on the > road? > > I'm thinking: > 1) Remove coil wire; > 2) Remove fuel injector relays; > 3) Hire a bad-ass dog with really bad breath. ;-)
