An AC adaptor may well put out more than the voltage it specifies. Be
certain you use a DC adaptor. The injectors are not polarity
sensitive. Much like the coil in a standard relay, the coil in a fuel
injector gets energized regardless of polarity and creates a magnetic
field which pulls the applicable part (plunger?), open. I would
imagine that even a 9 volt battery would suffice. If it were me, I'd
use a 9 volt battery.

There are videos on youtube showing various shops and their overview
of what they do to refurbish an injector. From what I've seen, and
what little I know, part of what the pros do is flush and back flush
the injector.

If the spray pattern improves (or is ok to start with), the injector
doesn't leak when closed (1 or 2 drops in a certain period of time.
Digifant pro manual and maybe Bentley spec this), and the injector
opens and closes each time it's triggered, then the injector is likely
ok.

The process that was demonstrated showed forward and reverse cleaning of the fuel injectors. Is this a recommended process.
