That tire size is one of my favorites for the Vanagon. That wheel is the
wrong offset and the center bore is too small especially for the front.
Ideally you will need 20mm of spacer and then rear studs-front bolts to
match. Just keep bringing money.

  Seller says Go Westie told him they would only fit a Syncro in the Vanagon
line...I'd like to put some bigger steelies on my 84 2wd with 5sp inline VW,
but I can't afford new from our vendors...and these even have some decent
snow tires I might be able to get some miles from ..
