Even the venerable Mercedes Benz recently inked a deal with the brand Uro to have them come on board as a manufacturer of MB-starred OE parts. Uro is one of the absolute bottom-feeders in the realm of utter dreck, so this is kind of a big deal. When this news came out, a guy on an MB listserv to which I belong had to practically be placed upon a suicide watch due to his feverish despair and listless willingness to carry on. These are indeed bleak times to be an enthusiast http://www.uroparts.com/uro/news/show/30 On Sat, Aug 24, 2013 at 1:28 PM, Karl Wolz <wolzphoto@q.com> wrote: > It's not an uncommon thing to buy a couple parts, switch boxes, and return > the cheap part in the expensive box.
