Hi listers,
Just returned from a nice VT camp out at Woodford State Park. I was the only Westfalia in the park.
I've noticed for some time that my front grills seem to be a bit loose and rattly. I realized recently that the lower grill is missing a screw in the top center. I think replacing that would be a good thing. I removed one from the lower corner just to see how it would be in the center place and discovered that the screw just popped through the metal tab on the other side. I suspect I'm missing more then the screw. I felt around the other part of the grill and could feel plastic holders on the other side of the sheet metal of the other screws but not on the missing middle screw.
so my question is If i go to a parts store and show them my screw what do I call the other part I need to go on the other side of the metal tab? or, is this a part I can actually order from one of our venders next time I make a reasonable order.
On a related question. I wanted to look at the top grill set up for rattle reduction but am not sure how it is connected. I feel what seems like slotted screws but I suspect they are just meant to look like that and actually the grill comes off in some other clever way.
So lower and upper front grill fashioner info is greatly appreciated.
I try to be very careful working with these plastic parts and greatly value the list tips!
