I've been using ethanol gas for what... 15 years? That was what they
sold in Minnesota for years before we left and it's what I found when
we moved back to the west coast in 2003.  It's not as good as real
gasoline, but it works.
I'm in Iowa right now & regular IS real gas and costs more than
midgrade which is 10% ethanol ...
