Syncros are like dogs. You can own one, and it's a fair bit of work but great reward. However if you get two, they can play with eachother and its really not a whole lot more work to keep the pair. But if you get to many, you have a problem. Why own just one? -craig '87 syncro '87 syncro '87 2wd On Sep 27, 2013, at 10:16 AM, Dake Collins <wuwe423@YAHOO.COM> wrote: > Thanks for posting this article, now my 96 year old father understands why I want to upgrade from my standard Westy to a Syncro. > > Dake > > > > > ________________________________ > From: Rocket J Squirrel <camping.elliott@GMAIL.COM> > To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > Sent: Friday, September 27, 2013 9:40 AM > Subject: Re: Cur side classics article about syncro > > > "Cur side" referring, of course, to the side of the car where the dog sits. > > -- > Jack "Rocket j Squirrel" Elliott > 1984 Westfalia, auto trans, > Bend, Ore. > > On 09/26/2013 10:49 PM, Alistair Bell wrote: >> Nice piece on the syncro at curbside classics >> >> http://www.curbsideclassic.com/curbside-classics-european/curbside-classic-vw-vanagon-syncro-t3-so-misunderstood/ >> >> Even nicer for me as my van is in a couple of the pics. >> >> Alistair >>
