Yes, well, I didn't get much for my van unfortunately. Better than the
thousand they originally offered, but still only half of what I need to buy
a rusty Westfalia!  It was actually the owner of the company that didn't
strap down the car!  Normally, I wouldn't consider sueing, but I found out
that he has done this repeatedly!  The tow truck that picked up my van
after the accident told me that Gilroy is lazy, and just backs up to the
vehicle, lifts it, and takes off.  BTW, thankfully Colin was mostly unhurt,
and after the accident, stopped the tow truck that caused the accident from
towing my van off!!!!!  He started to hook it up, and Colin told him that I
would not want him to do that!!!!!  I was in the hospital at the time.
 Whiplash. Craziness!  My friend just helped me get Legal Shield, so that I
can get a competent lawyer versed in Texas law.  I hate that I need to do
this, but don't want him hurting other people.

i had a car (my own) fall off a tow truck because the tow truck driver did
not strap the wheels into the  wheel lifts because he was LAZY.  he had to
do a panic stop and my car jumped out of the wheel lifts and crashed into
the boom, the wheel lifts destroying the undercarriage and the front end
was smashed and the car fell off the lift.   it was totalled.   all because
the tow truck driver was too lazy to use the wheel straps he was carrying
IN THE TRUCK WITH HIM.    i sued the tow truck company and won.
i have no patience for dumb tow truck drivers.
