Jerking and other weird engine actions during deceleration usually relate to a driveline or maybe motor mounting problem. If the engine idles, runs, and accelerates smoothly I would look at and rule out the driveline first. A bad pinion bearing can cause this. Tranny time. When I am driving at any speed and let off of the gas, the engine jerks substantially. If I push in the clutch it goes away. If I accelerate it goes away. If I am driving at a steady speed it does not happen unless I barley start to let off the gas. It happens in all gears. I can put on the cruise and it will jerk a little when it accelerates/decelerates. It idles fine and goes through all gears with normal acceleration fine.Any advice would be great. Thanks for all of the great info over the past three years that I have been foolowing, John Kulina'90 MV
