Just wanted to add to this thread that Bus Depot carries the 110V heating element for the Dometic fridges. Saw one for sale on Samba selling a used one for $10 MORE than the price of a brand new unit.

The problem is it uses 220V instead of 110V. So unless you're Canadian and want to buy this off me, I need assistance in converting this to 110V. As far as I know, the heating element would be what needs replacement. Assuming this is an ammonia fridge like those found in Westies. Thought about just installing a step-up transformer or DC converter but replacing the element will make CDO (in alphabetical order) person in me happier.
