I know of two vanagon owners that have done this and the result is pretty nice. I did something similar on my pop top. I didn't use hull liner fabric but rather some inexpensive carpet. It was very thin carpet, pretty close to hull liner thickness but it did not have the 2 way stretch that the hull liner stuff has. The lack of stretch did come back to bite me during the install - I didn't manage to get it on completely wrinkle free. >>> >>> I have some pics of my attempt here: >>> >>> http://shufti.wordpress.com/2013/07/01/vanagon-pop-top-canvas-swap/ >>> >>> Alistair >>> >>> >>> >>>> On Oct 12, 2013, at 2:44 PM, WILLIAM WITZ <pbwitz@SBCGLOBAL.NET> wrote: >>>> >>>> Hi all, does anyone have any advice on dyeing or painting the in side of the poptop?
