I have Bus Depot boots on my van right now, and they seem pretty good. Time will tell. This after a horrible three-year spell of getting crappy boots locally. My point is, the quality varies. If I had a good set of OEM VW boots on my vanagon I would leave them alone if they were not split before I would put some iffy aftermarket brand on. Been there, done that, once every ten months or so. The good ones seem three times as thick and much more pliable than the bad ones.
