I will take more/better pics. There are lots of little details that might even be applicable to our vans. The guy was a metalworker/machinist and it seems not a bad woodworker either. Just a note, inside the back doors is a compartment with water heater and propane storage, separated from living quarters. cheers alistair PS same neighbour just bough a Swedish origin tristar syncro DOKA. Its in the shop right now (injector pump leaking) and I have seen it only on the lift. But it very much picture-worthy. When you have another opportunity, take some more images of the interior driver/passenger area and the wonderful interior slat wood finish. > > Cheers! > Stuart > 1986 Vanagon GL 2.1L > From: Alistair Bell <albell@SHAW.CA> > To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > Sent: Wednesday, November 27, 2013 12:00:30 PM > Subject: slightly OT - MB L319 D camper > > My neighbour bought this last summer, I finally snapped some pics. > > The interior is quite nicely done, can i draw your attention to what look like a miniature fold down bunk on the wall. > > http://shufti.wordpress.com/2013/11/27/mercedes-benz-l-319d/ > > alistair >
