Direct TV shows the Velocity channel...has a series on there called
'How it's made' which I watched a few episodes recently...One on the
Audi, one on Morgan and one about a Ferrari 4x4 being made.
Excellent 1/2 hr shows showing the whole process of making the high
end autos...Lots of hand work involved...Vanagon content....Some
excellent ideas on upholstering, fabricating stuff, possible
work-arounds rather than digging through junk yards and trying to find
a replacement or some widget you could very well do on your own..If
those limited production supercars are made by hand....we can
certainly do a lot for our 'super vans'..
