So, I've been having fun with this - I use that line for as a safety
switch for the immobiliser circuit in my alarm.  Recently, I've been
having a problem where whatever I do, it thinks the key is in the
ignition, so I can't arm the alarm.  Today I replaced the ignition
switch, and found there's a small crack in the old one.  Problem solved :o)
