I know I'm late in responding. There are some things that need a meter more
responsive than on old swing meter but here are some features you should
have.
Certain functions such as the O2 sensor circuit do work quickly. You want a
meter that includes a bar graph as part of the display.
You want duty cycle and frequency.
A lighted display.

There are many meters available with these features at reasonable prices.
Just do your homework.
