The Eurovan with equipped with a battery charger or as is often used and charger-converter. These use a relay and actually isolate the house loads from the battery. The Westy didn't even come with the 2nd battery. On the Eurovan Westy (Canadian model) when it was plugged, lights , fridge, aux.heater fan, and all the camper equipment, would be running off the offshore current, not the coach battery, but It would also charge the battery when plugged. My question: with the 1986, my understanding is that when plugged the coach battery does not get charged, and the electrical camper parts like the lights ( except for the fridge, etc) are still running off the coach battery not the offshore current... Is my understanding correct? Thanks again Alain Sent from my iPad 2
