Subject:Re: oil light question

I just started the 89 van today. This time there was no red light from the oil pressure indicator. I cranked the engine anyway and ran it at idle for a little while. Oil started leaking from the oil pressure switch between the pushrod tubes so I have confirmation that that switch is bad. I will replace both the switches and do some other jobs before I run this engine any more. Steve
