The low temp one will turn on the fan anytime you park in the sun with everything closed up. Doesn't take much to get an interior over 100.

Subject: 1991 vanagon - Dometic 182B fan limit switch

All,
The fan limit switch for the exterior fan is not working on my Dometic
fridge. It looks like there are two basic replacements out there: one with a
temp range of about 140-120 F and 105-90 F.

The original manual shows using the higher temp range but I wanted to see if
anyone else had a good experience the lower temperature range sensor.
