Subject:Re: Tin top going camping... 2wd off road capability

Key is to always choose good places if you're stopping. Only stop where
traction is good or where gravity will help you get going again. Stopping
on sand, you will get stuck..Even wet grass, with a bit of incline....from
a stop, no go. Preserve your momentum. With a skillful driver a 2wd van
can go pretty ok, but they have crappy traction that the good driver can
work around. Not at all forgiving for a low traction rookie. Good ground
clearance, pretty sturdy.
