A good while back, there was some talk about "remoting" the battery to the
outside or a convenient place on the inside of the van so that one could
plug up a pair of jumper cables and charge or access the battery without
taking the engine lid off. The more I think about it, and with my van not
getting driven so much anymore, the better an idea that seems.

If anyone remembers the connectors--there was a really nice one at Wet
Marine, I think, but I can't find it--I would appreciate knowing about it.
