Subject:Re: WTB: Round Headlight assembly from '85 and older

Thank you Jim for confirming my intention/expectation for a brighter nighttime driving. I have tried all kinds of half-measures over the years. I washed the inside of the housings, upgraded the wiring with relays, tried higher wattage bulbs, replaced countless plastic adjusters, etc. The only thing that marginally helped was installing extra driving lights on the chrome bumper. They are not pretty. Now the plastic adjusters are getting brittle and some are broken again.

As of this morning, I have a line on a '85 or older grill and a separate line on a set of brackets. (Thanks guys! You know who you are.) I intend to install the 7 INCH H4 Hella round headlights in them. I'll report back after my retro-conversion project. Oldies but goodies I say.
