Jason, I think you are looking for two different things. I have a backup camera on my Vanagon but it only works when you put the van in reverse and then it is just meant to aid you when you are backing up. You can also buy a traffic video recorder that you mount on the inside of your windshield with a suction cup and it records your speed and a video of your driving so if you have an accident or are pulled over by a police officer you have evidence to contest a ticket, etc. You can get a decent backup camera for around $100 or less. I haven't checked into the traffic cam but that is probably around the same. You can always do something custom but it is never going to be cheap. If you look on Amazon you can find small cameras that you can mount in different places on the van, buy a 7" LCD screen and have them all feed into that along with a small portable video recorder that is recording onto an SD card. That system would probably be around $500 or 600 depending on if you wanted the video screen to mechanically pop out of the radio on the dash or just buy a screen and mount it somewhere. Hope this helps, Ken Wilford John 3:16 www.vanagain.com On Mon, Feb 10, 2014 at 9:39 PM, Jason <uberhare@gmail.com> wrote: > I am looking to add a rear view camera to our van.
