I have gone through the process with a 95 EVC. Yes there is quite a bit of info about it on the archive for EV_Update, a lot the the more recent stuff from my exercise in getting it done. It is pretty straightforward but not quick and easy. I had a 93 manual trans donor van to give the necessary parts. One could purchase the necessities individually, but the donor is also a template to see how it all goes in as you take it out and transplant it. I have attached a pdf of extracts that I garnered from the archives that were useful in my task. Join the list (Yahoo! Groups) and search the archives. He had a Rialta and was sick of all the problems he had with the auto. I don't think it was easy, but what thing worth doing is? > > Stuart > > -----Original Message----- > From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf Of Chris S. > Sent: Thursday, March 06, 2014 9:02 AM > To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > Subject: '93 Eurovan auto to manual > > Is anyone familiar with any gotchas associated with converting an automatic early Eurovan to a manual gearbox? I have the skill to do it on a Vanagon, but am curious about any ECU/harness pitfalls. > > Chris. > > Wysłane z iPhone'a=
