Spring compressors. It can be tough to install front shocks even with standard springs using just vehicle weight. I used these, but they require extreme care. If one pops off it could kill you: http://www.harborfreight.com/macpherson-strut-spring-compressor-set-61654.ht ml#.Ux5ilflr6M4 Stuart -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf Of Ralph Meyermann Sent: Monday, March 10, 2014 5:28 PM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: G.W. 1.5" lift springs Hi Volks! By any chance has any of the list installed the 1.5" springs from GW? Just finished mine, the rear was done before the frozen pizza was cooked in the oven. The fronts, not so much! Thinking the shocks may be a bit too short of up stroke now. Any suggestions? Velma 82 1.9L AAZ TD Westy
