I don't know for sure, but I think the color in the white top is in the gel
coat, it's not painted.  At least that's what I thought when I did my '84,
which I painted with VW Arctic White, and it looked great.

I have a customer with a 91 Westy and we are actually replacing the top with
one from an 85 Westy.  I want to paint it to match the van which is white in
color.  Does anyone know what the paint code is for that color white on the
pop top?  I found the paint code for Pastel white which is *L90D/R1but I am
not sure if this is for the body only or the body and the pop top.  If
anyone can tell me where to look I would appreciate it.*
