Bus Depot has them: https://www.busdepot.com/7001 Used one of these in my
'68 Westie until my son's feet stuck out the window too far. Should have
been standard equipment on the Vanagon conversion too.

Subject: WANTED: Front childs cot

Hello all.

I'm hoping someone out there has grown out of one of the canvas child cots
that go across the front seating area. Our youngest is growing older and
won't be in the port-a-crib inside the van much longer. That's great for
interior space, but means we need a place for him to sleep. So, if you or
someone you know have one you'd be willing to sell, please let me know.

Thanks!
Aaron
