I used a Vanagon Headlight switch in one of the blank spots to the right side of the instrument pods....I wired that switch to a relay triggered by the high beam power and by my auxillary battery ...so if the switch ( it's a lighted one I haven't figured out that part yet.....) is off, there's no power going through the relay...lights are off.. If the switch is turned to the second position...when the high beams are on it sends power to the relay which lights the secondary lights, in my case, these are KC Daylighters....When the switch is in the 3rd position, the secondary lights get power, again through that relay, this time from the aux battery... I wired them this way to have a secondary source of light should my main headlights go out for any reason.... So, in the three way headlight switch you can source from our list vendors and snap right into the pod.......You have one position with no power going through to the lights via that relay..."Off" The second switch position is "On"....I have mine wired to aux battery as a second 'double-redundant' in case of complete loss of power when driving along....The third position is "On when High beams are On"...handy when driving in the desert and a car comes at you....you simply dim the dimmer and the extra lights also go off...then flip it back to high beams and they come back too. I can't explain it very well, but it is pretty simple when you have the wires and the switch and the relay there in front of you...
