Hi all,
I've been lurking on the forum for the last month or so, checking the content to see what you guys are all about.
Wow! I am so impressed with the help that is offered and the dedication to the brand and lifestyle that I would love to become a participating member of the group. I have learned SO much by just following last month's threads!
My name is Mike Magnani and my wife and I bought our 1990 Westy brand new and have spent many a mile traveling around the country.
Our Westy has led a pampered life and lives in the garage down here in Southern California when it's not busy camping.
I've been an aircraft mechanic for 34 years and have been with the Harbor Freight Tools Flight Department for 11.
Believe me when I freely admit that airplanes and Vanagons rarely have anything in common. Most of the problems I've had in fixing my bus havebeen because I thought I knew what I was doing!
If you'll have me, I would love to be a part of your group.
Kind regards,
Mike M
