Following wise list advice, I wired a dust cap onto the exposed driver's side fan motor bearing. I also used a barbed 1/4" hose fitting in the dust cap to about 18" of tubing led out the ram air intake. Voila, tidy greasing system. So it won't flap around, I'll lead the tubing out through the bug shield and cap it hanging downwards. Hopefully I won't need it for at least a decade!
